A maggio 2018 il fatturato dell’industria cresce dell’1,7% rispetto ad aprile e anche gli ordinativi aumentano del 3,6%, secondo i dati Istat. Gli indici destagionalizzati, osserva l’Istituto, “raggiungono i livelli più alti dall’inizio dell’anno” sia sul mercato interno sia su quello estero. Rispetto a maggio 2017, c’è un’espansione del fatturato del 5,1% e degli ordini del 4,9%, nei dati grezzi. Maggio è il terzo mese consecutivo con un aumento congiunturale del fatturato, e mostra andamenti simili sul mercato interno (+1,6%) e quello estero (+1,8%). Invece, l’incremento congiunturale degli ordinativi è più rilevante per il mercato estero (+5,5%) rispetto a quello interno (+2,2%). “L’incremento congiunturale del fatturato coinvolge tutti i principali settori, con una spinta ulteriore proveniente dalla vivace dinamica dei prodotti energetici” (+5,8%). I settori con la maggiore crescita tendenziale del fatturato i prodotti petroliferi raffinati (+24,4%) e i prodotti farmaceutici (+13,2%).
