Il Ministero delle Infrastrutture e Trasporti, con nota 0012978 del 30 maggio 2018 comunica la propria posizione in merito all’utilizzo di targa di prova su veicoli già immatricolati.
Il Ministero ribadisce la validità di quanto disciplinato nel 2004 (prot. n. 4699/M363) in materia di circolazione di prova dei veicoli ma, al tempo stesso, prende atto che il livello di utilizzo di targhe di prove è talmente copioso da ipotizzare un abuso delle autorizzazioni all’utilizzo.
Per superare questo fenomeno il Ministero dà notizia del tavolo tecnico avviato con il Dicastero dell’Interno sulla tematica in oggetto che, per una più approfondita valutazione della questione, così come per una decisione in merito ai limiti dell’eventuale legittimità di utilizzo della targa di prova, ha ritenuto opportuno il coinvolgimento del Consiglio di Stato.
In attesa alle decisioni che verranno adottate, la nota del Ministero sottolinea l’importanza delle sentenze già intervenute che hanno riconosciuto la piena legittimità all’utilizzo della targa di prova anche da parte delle vetture già immatricolate.
Si ricorda che il Ministero dell’Interno sulla problematica in oggetto ha diffuso una circolare indirizzata agli organi di controllo in cui comunica che, in attesa di una posizione unitaria e univoca, non si procede a sanzionare i soggetti che utilizzano targhe di prove su veicoli già immatricolati.
