Il presdiente di Confcommercio, Carlo Sangalli, è interventuto alla conferenza stampa sul ruolo del commercio e del turismo per rilanciare i centri urbani. “La riduzione dell’offerta commerciale, secondo il nostro Ufficio Studi 64 mila negozi in meno negli ultimi dieci anni, e una disordinata evoluzione delle strutture di ristorazione e alloggio stanno impoverendo le nostre città che, ora più che mai, devono essere rilanciate”. “C’è, dunque bisogno – ha detto Sangalli – di un piano nazionale per la rigenerazione urbana, fondato sul riconoscimento del rapporto strettissimo tra commercio e vivibilità delle nostre città, e di misure dedicate all’innovazione delle piccole superfici di vendita. “Città più belle e attrattive danno sicurezza e fiducia: costituiscono un grande valore sociale ed economico per i nostri territori.
