A fare gli onori di casa il presidente di Confcommercio Carlo Sangalli che ha sottolineato l’importanza di un contratto simile “in un clima di grande incertezza politica ed economica”. “Un contratto forte – ha aggiunto Sangalli – che tiene insieme associazione imprenditoriali e sindacati. Un contratto che si distingue differenziando e rafforzando l’identità del settore”. Secondo il presidente Fipe, Lino Stoppani, “bisognava rispondere alle esigenze di competitività delle imprese e il benessere dei lavoratori”. “I sindacati – ha aggiunto Stoppani – hanno capito la particolarità del settore pur difendendo legittimamente l’interesse dei lavoratori e le imprese da parte loro hanno compreso l’importanza del contratto di lavoro”. “Siamo certi – ha osservato Stoppani – che le importanti innovazioni previste dal contratto, che garantiranno una maggiore flessibilità operativa, saranno la leva per favorire quel recupero di produttività necessario per sostenere gli investimenti migliorativi e lo sviluppo di un settore chiave dell’economia italiana”. Il nuovo contratto, indipendente e svincolato rispetto ai contratti precedenti, ha un campo di applicazione che interessa oltre un milione di addetti di un settore dove operano più di 300 mila imprese, con un fatturato di oltre 80 miliardi di euro. Previsto un aumento in busta paga di 100 euro a regime, rafforzamento dell’assistenza sanitaria integrativa, durata quadriennale e innovazioni mirate al recupero della produttività.
