Si è svolta a Kuala Lumpur (Malesia) la riunione dell’Assemblea generale di ECTAA, l’Organizzazione europea delle Associazioni delle agenzie di viaggi e tour operator. In rappresentanza dell’Italia Luca Patanè, presidente di Confturismo-Confcommercio, è stato confermato membro del Board per il biennio 2018-2020. Il Board, riunitosi a seguire, ha quindi eletto i componenti dei Comitati tecnici per la prossima consiliatura. Sono quattro gli italiani che ne fanno parte, il numero più alto da oltre dieci anni. Si tratta di Francesco Bafundi (Confcommercio Bruxelles) nel Comitato legale, Alberto Corti (Confcommercio) nel Comitato incoming e sostenibilità, Pierluigi Fiorentino (Confcommercio) nel Comitato fiscale e Alfredo Pezzani (FTO – Federazione del Turismo Organizzato) nel Comitato trasporto aereo. “Abbiamo proposto una squadra di candidati di altissimo livello professionale – ha dichiarato Luca Patanè al termine dei lavori – e le altre 29 delegazioni nazionali di ECTAA ce ne hanno dato atto votandoli ed assicurandosi così la loro presenza nel Comitati per i prossimi due anni. Sono molto soddisfatto e credo che il nostro impegno in ECTAA dovrà essere sempre più forte”.
