E’ fondamentale che il ministro abbia definito il libro una sorta di ‘porta d’ingresso’ dei consumi culturali, un’affermazione che conferma l’importanza di uno strumento che ha un ruolo cruciale per promuovere la cultura nel nostro Paese”: è quanto ha dichiarato il presidente di Ali-Confcommercio, Paolo Ambrosini, che ha partecipato a Milano alla seconda riunione al Mibac sull’industria libraria. Nel corso dell’incontro – che ha toccato temi importanti tra cui il recupero urgente della marginalità soprattutto nel settore scolastico e l’avvio di un’articolata promozione della lettura – l’Ali ha sottolineato la necessità di misure economiche a sostegno della rete di librerie sul territorio per favorire la nascita di nuove realtà soprattutto in quelle zone del Paese dove più è carente la loro presenza. “Ora – conclude l’Associazione – si attendono gli sviluppi dei vari temi in vista dell’imminente avvio nella VII Commissione cultura della Camera della discussione sulla bozza di legge sulla lettura”.
