Il commissario Borghi: “Ci ispiriamo a tre valori: il valore del welfare contrattuale, il rapporto tra le aziende e i fondi sanitari e pensionistici”.
Piazza San Silvestro, a Roma, diventa per cinque giorni uno spazio di prevenzione e cultura della salute. La sindaca di Roma Virginia Raggi ha tagliato il nastro d’inaugurazione del Villaggio della Salute, organizzato da Confcommercio, Cgil, Fisascat e UiltuCs con il patrocinio di Roma Capitale. All’iniziativa hanno partecipato anche l’assessore capitolino al Commercio Adriano Meloni, al suo ultimo giorno in questa veste, Renato Borghi Presidente sanimpresa e commissario Confcommercio e il vicepresidente Carlo Costantini, Segretario Fisascat Cisl Roma e Capitale e Rieti e Luigi Corazzesi vicepresidente Sanimpresa. “Saluto e ringrazio gli ospiti che hanno avuto il merito di proporre qualcosa di innovativo – ha dichiarato la sindaca di Roma Virginia Raggi -. Mi piace la definizione Oms della salute non come assenza di malattia ma di benessere, cioè si tutte le situazioni che fanno stare bene l’individuo. Non basta essere
senza malattia, ma l’individuo deve avere a disposizione anche un sistema ampio di prevenzione”. Questa proposta, ha spiegato Raggi “ci è sembrata nuova e importante perché mette a disposizione dei romani 5 giorni in cui i cittadini possono vedere come stanno in un momento in cui l’Eurostat ci dice che in Italia più di una famiglia su due non può affrontare la spesa della salute a fronte delle bollette”. La salute “oltre ad essere un diritto costituzionalmente garantito è una condizione importante – ha ricordato la sindaca di Roma – in un momento in cui la sanità pubblica non sta bene, questa iniziativa è di fondamentale importanza Siamo stati molto contenti di accettare questa proposta e di fare quanto possibile per accelerare il percorso burocratico, anche grazie ai
consiglieri che all’unanimità hanno votato una mozione per la realizzazione di questo villaggi”. Oltre agli stand per gli esami “nel villaggio ci sono stand informativi su nutrizione o contrasto al fumo – sia mai che qualcuno fumasse – ha chiosato la Raggi rivolgendosi agli ospiti – perché la salute è una condizione di benessere condiviso che si costruisce anche con l’informazione”. L’attività che sta portando avanti il comune, ha spiegato Raggi “ha un approccio integrato: dato l’invecchiamento della popolazione e un tasso di povertà che aumenta, andare verso l’integrazione sociosanitaria consente alle amministrazioni di dare una risposta ai cittadini, com’è stiamo facendo nei centri anziani e nei servizi del territorio. Questa fase di test di quest’anno è un ottimo punto di partenza per un percorso per la salute da continuare a fare insieme”, ha concluso la sindaca. “Finalmente riusciamo a inaugurare Il Villaggio della Salute – ha dichiarato Renato Borghi, Presidente Sanimpresa e commissario Confcommercio – è stato un percorso lungo e ringraziamo la sindaca Raggi che ci ha consentito di accelerare qualche passaggio. Un grazie anche all’assessore Meloni che ci ha accompagnato in tutto il percorso e al neoassessore Carlo Cafarotti”. Quello che avverrà nei 5 giorni del Villaghio, ha sottolineato Borghi “è ispirato a tre valori: il valore del welfare contrattuale, il rapporto tra le aziende e i fondi sanitari e pensionistici che offrono un servizio per i cittadini e sono un’attività di sussidiarietà per lo Stato. Il secondo valore è la responsabilità sociale di impresa di cui si parla spesso, ma è poco praticata. Il villaggio della salute non è la nostra unica iniziativa, stiamo facendo diverse azioni che non hanno un tornaconto economico ma un valore educativo”. Infine, “siccome le aziende sono un po’ il riverbero degli uomini che le conducono, il terzo valore è la solidarietà. Le persone che utilizzeranno questo servizio hanno fragilità economica: questa è un’azione di solidarietà che funziona se si parte dal concetto di aver ricevuto tanto dalla vita e per questo si restituisce dando agli altri. In Sanimpresa intendiamo continuare così”, ha concluso Borghi. Già da oggi, con il villaggio aperto dalle 14 alle 18, una lunga fila di gente è in attesa per accedere agli stand. L’area sarà aperta il 10, 11 e 12 maggio dalle 9.30 alle 18 e il 13 maggio dalle 9.30 alle 14 e sarà possibile fare indagini diagnostiche come: elettrocardiogramma, ossimetria, misurazione della pressione arteriosa, misurazione del livello ematico di colesterolo e glicemia, misurazione peso e altezza per individuazione dell’ indice di massa corporea, nonché in alcuni stand sarà possibile ricevere consulenza su benessere psicologico, contrasto al tabagismo, alimentazione, odontoiatria.
