Confcommercio fa parte dell’Alleanza Italiana per lo sviluppo sostenibile (ASviS) e, in occasione della presentazione del rapporto 2018, ha ribadito il suo impegno verso gli obiettivi di sviluppo sostenibile.
La transizione energetica e il cambiamento climatico in atto impongono alle imprese un diverso approccio per adeguare la propria attività a nuovi modelli di produzione e offerta incentrati su un consumatore sempre piu’ sensibile e attento all’ambiente. Per questo, Confcommercio ribadisce il suo impegno in questo ambito avendo gia’ da tempo avviato, anche grazie ad una presenza capillare sul territorio, un’importante attivita’ di supporto alle imprese verso gli obiettivi di sviluppo sostenibile: e’ quanto si legge in una nota di Confcommercio in occasione della presentazione del rapporto 2018 dell’ASviS (Alleanza Italiana per lo sviluppo sostenibile che riunisce attualmente oltre 200 tra le più importanti istituzioni, associazioni e reti della societa’ civile). Un impegno – prosegue la nota – che attraversa tutti i settori rappresentati dalla Confederazione – dall’ammodernamento delle tecnologie per il trasporto, alla sostenibilità a misura di esercizio commerciale fino alla sensibilizzazione di turisti e cittadini verso le diverse forme di inquinamento – e che si colloca nel solco del “Patto di Milano: le imprese italiane insieme per lo sviluppo sostenibile”, promosso da ASviS e sottoscritto anche da Confcommercio. Confcommercio – conclude la nota – vuole essere in prima linea nella transizione verso un nuovo modello di sviluppo per costruire un futuro a basse emissioni di carbonio e sicuro per il clima, caratterizzato da una green economy dinamica, una societa’ prospera e un ambiente sano. E documenti come il rapporto annuale ASviS sono fondamentali per fare il punto sull’impegno della Confederazione e su quello dell’intero sistema Paese.
